About Department
The Department of History is in important department in Moreshwar Arts, Science and Commerce College, Bhokardan. This department was established with establishment of college itself in August, 1996. The department of History imparts instructions in the subject of History and program prepared by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad at graduate level.
The department provides teaching facilities in the subject of history at the optional level. This department imparts instructions for the three year degree course designed by the university.
Objectives of the department
- To develop interest in History education among the students
- To enable the students to know the role of history education in the development of nation.
- To develop interest in historical research among the students
- To prepare student for the competitive exam. Like NET,SET.MPSC, UPSC .
- To provide practical knowledge to students about historical aspects and the culture and tradition of the region and nation.
