As per the moto of institution ‘Shahane Karun Sodave Sakal Jan’ Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve (Hon’ble Member of Parliament) started Moreshwar Moreshwar Arts, Science and Commerce College Bhokardan in 1996 which is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. The College is located in the rural and educationally backward area of Jalna District in Marathwada region. Initially the college started with Arts faculty in 1996, Science faculty in 1999 and in Commerce faculty in 2004. In 2009 college started Post-Graduation programme in Hindi, Economics and Political Science. In 2018-19 PG in Sociology, Geography, Chemistry and Commerce started. Recently the college has started PG in Mathematics and Computer Science. Today this college has been proved to be one of the best rural colleges in Marathwada region.
In the modern scenario of globalization, this college is committed to impart the qualitative education and to improve overall personality development of the students to face the challenges. Hard working, young, skilled, devoted and intelligent teaching and non-teaching staff is the asset of the college, who are supportive for the students which promotes enthusiasm in higher education, so that college had taken a giant leap in the development area within a short period of time. The College has well equipped laboratories and computerized library to help students in attaining highest standards in academics, research and professional skills. Though situated in rural area the College is characterized with rich library, update infrastructure, graduate and post graduate courses, highly qualified staff as skilled human resource, competent guidance centre for competitive exam, audio- visual sets, computer lab, internet connectivity facility, which empowers the quality of the students. For the overall development of the students, the college provides like NSS, Lifelong Education and Extension Department, Career Guidance and Placement Cell and Earn and learn Scheme. The campus has adequate sports infrastructure to take care of Sports and recreational activities. Creating good citizens is our motto and we are able to mould our students to be good human beings with values which are essential for life.
Shri. Santosh Patil Danve Student Adoption Scheme and Sau. Nirmlatai Danve Girl Student Adoption Scheme have been started since last five years by the college. The wards of suicide committed farmers and girl students who achieve remarkable success in the field of culture and sports are respectively eligible for this scheme. The admission fee is not taken from such students.
In academic year 2015-16 college reaccredited with B grade (CGPA 2.41). Since last fifteen-year college is recognized as one of the best educational institutes which has been giving best officers, qualitative leadership, industrialists, social workers, teachers, players, artists and the most import a civilized human being to the society and nation.
