Introduction:
Economics contributes to every sector of human development and it responds to every current activities of knowledge. In recent year, the subject of Economics is assumed greater significance for the economic growth, eradication of poverty and unemployment. It explains the nature or many problems such as Inflation, Stagnation, Recession, Population Explosion, and Adverse Balance of Payment and so on.
History of Department:
The Department of Economics is an important department in Moreshwar Arts Science And Commerce College, Bhokardan, Dist-Jalna. This Department established in June 1997 and P.G. Department started in June 2009. Dr. D. B. Kharat is founder head of this department. The department of Economics is working very well from beginning to till date under the head of department. This department successfully organized one day workshop in 2015. Department has highly qualified faculty. The Department imparts instructions in the Subject of Economics and programmers prepared by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad at under graduate & post graduate level.
Objectives
• To improve the knowledge and professional skills of the students.
• To develop interest in economical education among the students.
• To make them aware of the economic problems and policies of the government to solve these problems.
• To make aware to the available resource and infrastructure of the region and their optimum use for economic development.
• To introduce various opportunities in all fields.
• To arrange various lectures of eminent faculties in concerned fields.
• To create sense of ethical moral values and social temperament among the students for good citizen.
