INTRODUCTION
Moreshwar Shikshan Prasarak Mandal established Moreshwar Arts,Science and Commerce College in 16 August,1996. Initially the centeal library was accommodated in a small room. In the first year of commencement there was no purchasing of any book. All the lecturers donated their books to the central library. Now the College library is one the largest unit in the college. The role of the library in the educational process is important at any level, especially in college which aims at the Overall development of students such as knowledge, personality, skill communications, career, creativity etc. A well organized library is essential for teaching learning process done in a callege especially when the emphasis is shifted from classroom teaching – learning central process. The quality of education is greatly linked with the library. The Information Collected and Disseminated by library decides the quality of teaching and learning process in the college.
There is a U.G.C. grant sanctioned for the Development of library and purchasing of books but still form Management funds of 98-99 about 12970 books of variety of subjects form Arts, Science and commerce reference books and text books were purchased Total cost of this books is Rs. 4627191. In 1999 Science and technology related to syllabus reference books which is available .
With the accommodation for 20 bays and 20 girl students reading room facilities are made available and separate reading room for a teaching staff .
The library is constantly used by the readers and the scholars the regular working hours of library start form 9.30 am to 5.30 pm in the period of examination it remains opened on holidays also 9.00am to 5.30 pm.

Rules of Library
- Every student should I-card issued by college Library.
- Without I-Card students are not allowed to inter in Library.
- Everyone has to maintain silence and discipline in reading room.
- Only one book is issued at a time for a week only by library to every student.
- Renewal of books will be done with the permission of library only.
- All the Students have to clear their account before ending to second term.
